You will start to learn from pinyin, and finish the elementary level. Focus on listening and speaking, and simple Characters, Which contains 3 books. 
Elementary Level is intended for zero level beginners. 
These lessons cove 800 new words, phrase and 80 grammar points. 
After finishing the beginner courses learners will be supposed to be able to daily communication in Chinese for work and life. 
More importantly, they will have laid the foundation to continuing their study and preparing to take the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK).
