Kevin Chase

Kevin Chase was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. To date, he has released three albums: “Another Road” in 2002 and “I Won’t Fall” in 2006, the latter producing 2 minor Top 40 hits “I Won’t Fall” and “The Rush” on the Canadian Country Music News Charts. Both albums were nominated for an East Coast Music Award for Country Album of the Year.

Chase’s current CD “Hold On Tight” will be released by AGR Television Records this July in Europe and the Middle East, according to a recent press release.

The album was originally titled “Round 3″ was released 2010 in the US and Canada thru Interscope/Universal [2]., but the German label thought it would cause confusion in their markets, as the first 2 CDs had not been released overseas. The 14 track album was recorded in Saint John at Atlantica Studios. Chase, Marc Gosselin and Jim Kuehnel produced 13 of the tracks, while Nashville’s Anthony Little was tapped to mix some of the tracks on the CD. Little has previously worked with Reba McEntire, Tina Turner and Justin Timberlake. Little was taken with Chase’s voice and material and offered a couple of songs to him. Those songs, “Let’s Get Dirty” and “You Gotta Love It” brought the song collection to 14 tracks on the new CD. Little also did some production work on “Let’s Get Dirty” with the three co-producers.

In May 2011 and June 2011 Chase filmed a video for the single “Let’s Get Dirty”, the first major single release from “Hold On Tight”, in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

Melanie Morgan

Cap-Pele New Brunswick’s Melanie Morgan has been described as one of the most exciting new voices to hit the Canadian Country scene. Growing up in a small Acadian town, Melanie was exposed to both “Country” and “French Acadian” Music which makes her a good example of home grown talent. With her classic twang and powerful vocals Melanie has left a lasting impression on audiences all over Canada.

Melanie’s journey all began in 2006 when her dream of becoming a country recording artist flourished, heading down to Nashville Tennessee to record her debut album “Brand New Day”. This debut album received national recognition at the East Coast Music Awards for “Country Recording of the Year” and at the Canadian Radio Music Award for her hit single “My Man” which also received national Airplay on CMT and on Canadian Radio Coast to Coast.

In the fall of 2008, Melanie recorded her second album. This new album showcases her songwriting abilities on songs co-written with Nashville hit makers such as George Teren, Wade Kirby, Rick Huckaby and Monty Criswell. Her new project was also co-produced by Criswell, and features several outside songs including “This Time of Year” written by Hillary Lindsey, Tim Mensy and Troy Verges.

In September 2011 Melanie was chosen among thousands of artists to be part of CBC’s new hit show “Cover me Canada”. Melanie Morgan and her band battled out 7 other bands every week live on CBC where they performed classic Canadian Songs. Melanie got to work with some very well known music producers such as Hawksley Workman, Gavin Brown and star maker himself, Ron Fair.

Morgan gained the most fan votes throughout the competition but in the end ranked in 2nd place. Melanie is now making plans to return to Nashville early 2012 to record some new material and also plans on a summer cross canada tour. Look out for tour dates coming soon.
